Black Friday Gooseberry Sunset

I rarely get too excited about Internet hashtag movements, but the one that I can best understand and try to participate in as often as possible is #OptOutside. I think this is especially important on Black Friday, one of the most disgusting "events" of the year.

This year, I met up with Ben and Dave at Gooseberry Island in Westport, MA to photograph the sunset. It was raining wicked hard on the Cape as I drove over the Bourne Bridge towards Westport, but I could see the clouds quickly clearing off to the west. Ultimately, it wasn't the best sunset I've ever seen, but still worth the trip to check out a new location and spend some time outside.

I also packed out my timelapse rail and an extra tripod and made this timelapse of the clouds rushing over the rocky beach.
