This photograph marks the beginning of my interest in cityscape photography. While waiting in an airport for my first trip to Philadelphia, I came upon this shot by the inspiring Greg DuBois. I spent the rest of my downtime on the trip searching through Google Maps to find Malone Park and then drove straight there upon returning to Logan Airport in Boston.
This has always been one of my favorite shots because it's a truly unique view of the Boston skyline and it took me so long to figure it out. As the trees in the park grow each year, it becomes harder and harder to find a good vantage point, so this view won't be around forever.
