Franconia Ridge and Lonesome Lake

I’ve had this shot on my bucket list for a long time. Lonesome Lake is 1.5 miles into the woods and just over 1000 feet up from the floor of Franconia Notch. It’s a popular trail in summer and winter but I was alone along the shore of the lake once the sun started to go down. I might have to go back though - as cool as the clouds skirting the tops of the ridgeline in this photo are, I’d love to see alpenglow on an unobscured ridgeline before the end of the winter.
