Lupine Sunrise Starburst
One constant in landscape photography is that you have to be awake and ready to shoot very early in the morning. Never was this more true than on the weekend I drove up to Sugar Hill, NH to shoot sunrise over the lupine fields.
This is a classic location for sunrise in the mountains: beautiful field of flowers, dramatic mountain backdrop, and a remote enough location that not many other people are around. On this particular morning in 2012, the star aligned (literally) to setup this image of a sunburst over the mountains lighting up the beads of dew on the lupine flowers. It was truly a fantastic and sublime morning.
