Jefferson Blossoms

I've only been to Washington, DC twice in my life - once when I was in middle school and once in the spring of 2016. On my most recent trips I braved the hordes of other tourists and walked the loop around the Tidal Basin to check out the blooming cherry blossoms.

Despite the crowds of other people, the walk was beautiful and we caught the timing on the flowers perfectly. There was more than enough room to frame a bunch of different shots of the flowers with various elements of the Washington skyline. This shot of the blossoms and the Jefferson Memorial across the basin was my favorite of the day.
